Hi,
I have (old excel) accounting sheet converted to LibreOffice calc with several different accounts on dropdown box. Dropdown box width is about half the size of the column, there’s long description of the account on the dropbox. Is there a way to widen the dropbox as it’s bit annoying I don’t see the full text?

Have you tried resizing?
View>Toolbars>Form controls.
After activating design mode click on dropdown box and try to resize.
(Dropdown box = most probably it is a “Combo Box”. it is available in Insert>Form Controls>Combo Box
