I have created Head 2 New inherited from Heading 2.
If I use it I have this:
as you can see, Fourth, that is head 2 new style, has no numbering.
The numbering settings in styles is:
On the left there is the setting for Heading 2 and on the right there is head 2 new one.
I need that head 2 new had the same numbering of Heading 2. In the example Fourth should be numbered 1.3
You shouldn’t start new questions like this but continue with your earlier one (How to copy an heading style?), you can always edit your question or post a comment.
I don’t know how to edit a post. That was my original intent, but I cannot find edit or modify button. So I started new post
From what I’ve seen, you can’t link two different paragraph styles to the same outline level for heading numbering. Please continue the discussion in your first, this will just make things more complicated.
