How to transfer documents from Libre Office windows 10 to new windows 11 computer

easiest way to transfer existing Libre Office documents from old windows 10 HP to new Windows 11 Envy computer?

Try using a memory stick or an external hard drive.
Always make sure that the end of the save operation is correct.

Also copy your user folder, LibreOffice user profile - The Document Foundation Wiki

In the new computer, after you have installed LibreOffice, close it and then copy those folders that look useful (wordbook, templates, etc) from the old user folder over the new folders inside the user folder

Depends on your knowledge. For me: Plug both computers to the same network (I prefer wired) and grant the new computer access to your old Data on windows level. Now you can copy as easy as from a US-Stick.

Wonderful advice. But the new HP Envy was misreading the My Passport External Hard Drive as a CD Player for unknown and inexplicable reasons. Once we resolved that, the transfer was easy.

Thank you. Turns out there was a flaw in the new HP Envy.

Thank you so much for responding.

Don’t know this case, but some vendors use this method to give access to drivers, so you can get their software without connection to the internet and without needing to put a real CD in the parcel.

Should not be necessary for a hard-drive. Doesn’t matter as your problem is solved.
