I have a H.P. all in one Desktop the keyboard has various special characters such as 1/2 , 1/3, 3/4 on the lower right corner of the keys how do i get to them to type them in LibreOffice writer ?
The keyboard is controlled by the operating system and its driver may be customised to account for manufacturing/locale variants. Mention your OS.
Usually, lower-right engravings are returned when you simultaneously press Alt Gr.
PS: this question is not specific to Writer or LO. It is a basic computer usage one.

Experiment with a blank document. Try the fn combined with a key with alternative use. Try combinations with Shift and Ctrl.
