I was using 6.0.1.1 yesterday, and the updater prompt said a newer version was ready, but when I tried to download it, the only one I was taken to was 6.0.2 full version install. I remember previous portable versions I would be able to download a portable update to a new folder of my choice, and it would install the newest portable version, not a full system install. Is the portable updater broken, or am I just doing something wrong?
What platform are you on – Windows, perhaps? Do you use the PortableApps packages? Their most recent is still 6.0.1, by the look of it.
Windows 10. No I don’t use the PortableApps package. I downloaded the Multilingual Standard version directly from LibreOffice’s site (Portable versions | LibreOffice - Free Office Suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft). It is still showing 6.0.1 like you said, and I figured that’s why, but then why is it telling me an update is there if it’s not? Or is it just checking version numbers, and not if it’s portable or full install?
