How to update all fields in the entire document

Hi,

I want to update all fields in Libre Writer without checking it or doing it one by one.

As comparation in MS Words, all I do is select all and then press F9 to update all fields, including ToC.

So any idea on how to do it in Libre Writer?

You can add the icon update all to your toolbar. I use it at the end so I have not bothered to find out the keyboard shortcut. But it really does update everything.

Incidentally, in Word Ctrl+A, then F9 doesn’t update fields in headers and footers. It is something that frustrated me recently

To update fields and indexes then Tools > Update > Update all. Cheers, Al
