With extreme persistence I found the guide. ( much easier to find if more like a windows app) It shows a picture with a pencil icon to edit or update my question. I want to improve it but can’t find the pencil or any alternative.
BTW making me add the writer tag to a site question is illogical.
Writer tag is not obligatory but I think a tag is required; the tag you need is meta
If you can’t see the pencil icon so you can edit your other post then you might not have enough points to be able to edit it. In that case, you can click on a comment bubble to add further information as a comment
All forum/discussion platforms need to deal with SPAM. As it was seen advertisings were added later to posts this is often restricted for new users.

I don’t know the settings for Discourse (the software behind this ask-site), so I can’t tell you when you are allowed to correct/extend your own posts.
