How to use default sign for blank cell in conditional formatting icon set?

Hi all,
Condition: All cells ▸ Icon Set ▸ 3 Traffic lights 1
I want to use the icons as follows:
RED: for blank cells (default)
YELLOW: for >= 0
GREEN: for >= M (M is a positive integer)
The problem is with the blank cells. How can I do that?
Thanks,

Why do you think you need that toy?
There obviously is no way to define a specific condition for the fist icon.
Anyway the ‘All values’ mode doesn’t make much sense in the most cases, and surely not in this one.

Ordinary conditional formatting gives you every choice you need - if you are aiming at a reasonable goal.

In your case I would consider it appropriate, to use the modes ‘Value’ and ‘Formula is’ in a mixed CF with three conditions. See attached example.
cfExample.ods

  • Format cells red. You don’t need to apply a condition to the default state.
  • Add conditional format to apply green color for content being numerical and > M
  • Add conditional format to apply yellow for content being numerical and not negative.

The questioner specifically asked for a variant with 3 traffic light icons. This actually is implemented in the ‘all cells’ mode. Since he also wanted to have the yellow light or the green light only for positive values, and the red light only for blank cells, my comment on the question, the included suggestion, and the attached example apply.
Going that way cells with neghative values will not get a conditional style overlaid.
Calling the ‘all cells’ mode - and in specific the icon variant - a toy is an expression of my personal opinion, of course.

Missed that “icons” word. Must learn to read. Thanks @Lupp! Sorry @tomC1

Thanks to All, yes, unfortunately, i need that strict formatting requirement :frowning:

i need that strict formatting requirement :frowning:

i need that strict formatting requirement. Strange. Why?
:frowning: ACK
Generally: The ‘All Cells’ CF modes break the concept of ConditionalFormatting, which is to overlay cell attributes defined for a cell style to the concerned cells if the respective condition holds.
Concerning the ‘All Cells’ modes you either have no actual condition at all or not for all the respective effects.
Since there also isn’t much of real use, I call that a toy, and it shouldn’t be subsumed under Formatting but under FancyToys or some term alike.
