There is another way to use the OFFSET function with conditional subtotals if you are using AutoFilter. It also works in LibreOffice Calc. This is not in the LibreOffice Help.

If it doesn’t give you the answer you are looking for then you need to state your problem clearly, say what you have got and what your intended goal is. A sample spreadsheet is very useful for respondents. It might be that the function you mentioned might not be the best for your goals.
