I am running 7.0.4.2 and I cannot print to my HP printer in Writer. It works in Impress. I have to print to a pdf and then print the pdf. I can print just fine to my Brother printer.

Try Ctrl P then select the HP and click on print
Everything works as it should with other Libre apps I use (calc and impress). It is only writer that has this problem, and only with my HP printer. The Brother printer works fine on all apps. I tell Libre writer to print three pages and I can see them dump into my print queue and then leave as if they printed. The same as when I print from calc or impress, only NOW they print. I have done a repair operation with no change.
Here is another oddity - This current docx file has some odd formatting like paragraph borders. Also an earlier docx version of this file (I changed the filename) that doesn’t print and it prints - but it doesn’t have the paragraph borders. Another docx file I created also prints. Could it be just this file?
Have you downloaded and installed the HP driver for your printer?
