Thanks for the help and great work

Please upload a real (ODF type) sample file here.

Otherwise your HYPERLINK function work me if I substitue the , (comma) sepator to ; (semicolon) separator character in My LO 6.4.6 portable version.

Note: the comma is the decimal separator in many languages. Do not use it as a parameter separator character in a formula. The default separator is the semicolon in the LO.

Maybe OP had turned off the requirement for Ctrl+Click and always just used Click only in earlier version.

Setting is in same place as for v3.4 Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Security, next to Security Options and Warnings press button labelled Options, in new dialog untick Ctrl-click required to open hyperlinks

Hi Earnest,

Thank you for your help it actually worked now. It is a great product. In future Libraoffice should have default settings for functions so that there is compatibility to upgrades as well as new messages for updates to functions. Great Job. Always willing to help

“Libraoffice”

Not libra…
The name of the free, opensource office suite is “LibreOffice”.

@Libraoffice under normal upgrades, such settings are retained.

LibreOffice 3 is quite old and stored profiles in a different place so in this case LO 6.4.7.2 might not have read your old profile. Possibly, had you upgraded to LO4 and then upgraded to LO6 it might have copied your settings over.
