I am unable to enter page numbers in this version

What method have you tried?
Can you enter another data in the footer?

Thanks, that was super fast of you.
I down loaded an earlier version 7.3 and opened it in safe mode. I have now been able to add page numbers to my letter.

Maybe, if not done yet, you must Reset to factory settings.
