I cannot delete a spreadsheet in a document

I placed a spreadsheet into a document and a couple of things have happened.

  1. The spreadsheet is written over the top of the narrative that it should be in front of.

  2. I cannot find a way to delete it.

I figured out one of the questions, anchoring but now I want the spreadsheet (the portion in which I have information in the cells) to be centered on the page, currently the spreadsheet is left aligned with the endless columns and rows exposed.

Also, can I put spreadsheet data into a table?
