I cannot do ANYTHING? ("General Input/Ouput Error")

Hi; I just downloaded & joined;
I am trying to remove (or edit if I cannot remove,) watermarks from .PDF files.
Online suggestions do not work at all.

So I wanted to try Libre.
I just downloaded but anything I try gives me the error
“General Error. General Input/Output Error”

what do I do??

Are you on Windows? If so,

• what anti virus are you using?

Have you installed LibreOffice OK? Or do you get the error installing it?

standard Apple antivirus, whatever they use?

You could give LibreOffice full disk access from System Preferences > Security & Privacy
