Scatter plot, log X axis. Y axis has negative values. I cannot move the x axis. Seems like this used to work but I may be missing some steps. I can move the y axis using the position tab on the format axis pop-up. Going through the same steps for the x axis does not seem to work.
Thanks in advance.
Do you mean in Dialog: Format X-Axis -> Tab: Positioning -> Category: Axis Line -> Option: Cross other axis at
setting a Value
different to 0
(moving x-axis up and down)
or
is your question just related, where you want the labels to appear Dialog: Format X-Axis -> Tab: Positioning -> Category: Labels -> Option: Place Labels
setting value to Outside Start
?
Just to mention: For me both options work on

Not sure if this is the correct place to reply since I asked the question. I found that I could move the x axis if I added positive values to the y axis. I could only move the x axis to positive y values. For instance I can move the x axis to the the (+)10 position on the y axis but I cannot move the x axis to the -10 position on the y axis.
Thanks in advance.
Everything fine with your comment - absolutely the correct place. For me it works to insert a negative value in Option: Cross other axis at
(e.g. a Value
of -6
). Please tell us about your operating system and your LibreOffice version. You may add this additional important info by editing your question.
I just updated office and I can move the x axis. Thanks to all.
