I just downloaded LibreOffice version 7.2.7 and installed it. Now I find that I can’t open any of my documents. I’m using Windows 10, and I have restarted my computer twice since installing 7.2.7. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don’t understand this question: “You use Base with HSQLDB (ODB)?”
There are no error messages. When I double-click on the database, or any other document, in my Documents folder, nothing happens.
Upgrade to Lo 7.3
Lo 7.2 is very buggy.
I for one of many couldn’t connect to my split databases created in former versions of Lo.
Upgrading to 7.3 resolved all of my problems.(after first coming back to Lo 7.1.6)
First step: Can you start LibreOffice (without any documents) ? If the program is not starting “alone” it can’t open your files. Have you tried to start in “safe-mode” ?
Typical places to look for: Virus-protection with high security profile preventing running downloaded software. Security-schemes wich prevent the usage of “unknown” software.
Wanderer: I couldn’t start LO 7.2 at all, with or without documents, but as Grantler suggested, I downloaded a portable version of 7.1 and have been using it ever since, without any serious difficulties.
Willyvd: I will upgrade to 7.3 at some point.

Attention: New installs will keep the existing user-profile. Usually this is good, because it preserves my settings, but in your case you should ensure to get rid of the profile in %APPDATA% before doing a new install. (Your portable LibreOffice keeps an own profile elsewhere.)
