I’m new user with Kubuntu 18 x64 and tried to load Kingsoft Office but I can’t run it; also I can’t open word neither presentation fiels (extensions doc and ppt) made with kinsoft on system x32 system,
ever I get an warning not allowing to open those files with LibreOffice
is there a solution? thanks
Opening DOC or PPT files is supported in LibreOffice. So it should be something unusual with the files and/or their storage.
I’d expect to see the specific error message when someone asking (oh how often we see generic phrases like “I get an warning not allowing to open those files” instead of normal “I see message “Here-goes-exact-error-message-text” when double-clicking file in file manager Foo” ore somesuch…), and depending on the message, it could happen to be a simple permission issue.
