i’m using libreoffice 3.3. When i’m saving my document in network storage, it pops up an error " Error while saving the document: general error, input output error.
Pls help me for this
This could be almost anything. What platform are you one? What type of network storage are you accessing and how? Please provide more detail.
I’m using Ubuntu 11.04 and the storage is QNAP which is shared for both windows and Ubuntu
This sounds to me like and old network access problem (FDO#38419) that appears to affect the v3.3-v3.5 series of LO. It has been discussed on the mailing list with the proposed solution pointing to the method used to mount your network shares. In my experience, these types of error are often related to network configuration rather than the application. You don’t mention the network share protocol you are using, however if it is SMB or CIFS this is likely to be the issue.
