Use LO for 5 months. I use only LO-Calc, because that was my everyday task in the office.
First LO version is 4.0.2 that included in Ubuntu package. Now I use LO 4.0.6 upgraded from ppa.
The first 3 months I have many question and problem.
The last 2 month, I didn’t have any major problem with LO Calc. That is why I didn’t post any question in this forum.
I want to say Thank You for all LO team.
Your text is good for sharing with peoples who is scared using LO because they thing that LO is just a toy but real office tool is only MS Office.
I agree with you completely… I had many questions in the beginning, but when you accept a little bit different way of creating documents, presentations and spreadsheets, you notice that LO is not just replacement… it is much better office suite from Microsoft Office (my personal opinion).
Oh, I still have a lot questions, but you’re right it’s a great tool.

I have used nothing but Open Office and Libre Office for the last several years. There is always a solution found readily for any difficulties and/or questions on how to do something. I’m primarily a Calc user, but also Writer and Base (still a novice in Base).

Libre comes free and free upgrade. Almost all the functionality is there which is with MS. In some cases LO is better than MS. I feel proud to use Libre after using MS for 10 years. Well, if you don’t have questions pl start answering questions which others are facing. You are welcome.
