I downloaded 7.06 yesterday and I can't open Libre writer.

Nothing happens when I click on the icon. I tried right clicking, left double clicking, opened the start menu, but nothing happens.

Test (this is not a solution) whether LibreOffice user profile is causing the issue:

Right click -> Run on Windows Start menu (or Windows Key + R)
Type "%ProgramFiles%\LibreOffice\program\soffice" --safe-mode into Open text field (including the double quotes)
Click OK
Click button Continue in Safe Mode

Does it start this way?

(PS: There is no version 7.06 - it is 7.0.6)

Did this, received error message "Program, etc., not found. Ran twice to check spelling, same error.
P.S. I know it’s 7.0.6 just forgot the second period. Thanks for catching it.

Did you install 64-bit version or 32-bit version (The error message indicates, that the software either is not installed or 32-bit is installed an then %ProgramFiles% is wrong)? Please tell us the filename of the file you downloaded and installed.

I decided to try downloading it again and that worked. It had an option to repair corrupt files and was version 7.0.6.2. Thanks for taking time to help me.
