I downloaded Libre Office to Big Sur iMac. It appears on dock but will not open

After clicking on Libre Office it appears briefly in the Menu Bar but quits shortly.

Did you install version 7.0.4.2 or an older version? If you installed 6.4.7.2 it has been reported that this version (or older ones) do not work on Big Sur.
