The above question is self-explanatory.
@Scooter1 - Unfortunately your information is not self-explanatory. No information about the OS of your computer, where did you make the download and which file(s) did you down load, and which steps you took to install LibO and what was the result of each step.
During the installation you missed the provision of a start-up icon somehow or even opted for no icon or whatsoever…
As I don’t know your OS I only can give you hints. Look in the folder of your programs for a LibreOffice folder. There inside you find a “programs” folder and inside there you find icons for each LibO module and the soffice.exe file which starts LibO in generell. If you don’t find it search for “soffice” file.
If this doesn’t help please provide the missing information.
Additionally, I recommend to have a look at the free guides which you can download from http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/documentation/
I downloaded the program from the Libre Office home site and there were no questions except what OS I had on my computer. I pressed download, it took about 4 minutes, and then there was nothing. Quite perplexed, Also, my comment in the details box was just to advance the asking process because it would not submit it w/o some entry.
Problem solved. I’m quite computer illiterate,so I did not realize that I had to install it after downloading. When I searched for the download, I realized my error. Thanks, Ros - you were right.
