I have LibreOffice under LinuxMint-20

I am have several problems: I have read the relevant sections in the Calc. section. Take it easy on this newbie to LibreOffice. I had to leave Microsoft Office Excel !!! Way too costly to use.

1. Formulas don’t show up after I convert to values in the Data>calculate, auto-calculate is checked, but F9 does not work, neither does the recalculate or the hard recalculate.
2. Where do I, or how do I get the auto-recalculate to work?
3. I have checked all of the options for preferences, and I believe they are all set properly, but maybe I missed something…

That’s how this function is supposed to work - If you select convert to values there are no longer any formulas but values (an what should any AutoCalculate perform on values?).

Data -> Calculate -> [x] AutoCalculate
