I typed several dashes and hit return. This resulted in a line all the way across the page. I can’t figure out how to delete the line. I’d appreciate any help you can provide.
Undo [Ctrl+Z]
Some options
- Click at the end of the paragraph preceding the line and press delete
- Click at the beginning of they following paragraph and press backspace
- Click at the beginning of the line and press Ctrl+0 (apply Body text paragraph style)
Thanks! While the delete and backspace suggestions didn’t work, the Ctrl+0 suggestion did the trick!
Unfortunately, I’ve done lots of typing with the line(s) in place, so undoing is not a practical solution, though if I’d done it immediately it might have worked.
I inserted the line intentionally, to separate some new content from existing content that will have to be revised, which is why undo was no longer a reasonable fix.
Ctrl+M would work too.
