I want to permanently deauthenticate when opening files over a WebDAV connection

I have Nextcloud online storage mounted by Windows over a WebDAV connection. Recently, when users open LibreOffice documents (odt, ods) from there, they are always asked for their Nextcloud account.

When a file is opened by LibreOffice, the user is asked to authenticate, but when it is opened by MS Office, the user is not asked to authenticate.

Is there any way to permanently bypass the authentication process other than having the user set a master password?

Have you tried File > Open remote? There is a help file linked from button
