image exported to pdf is not cropped correctly

After I inserted an image to Libreoffice Writer and cropped it, I exported the document to pdf. But the image in the pdf file is not cropped correctly. You can download a sample document on google drive. I am using Libreoffice 5.3.4 on Manjaro Linux.

How I cropped the image:

1. Open a new document in Writer
2. Click Insert > Image… to insert the image
3. Right click on the image and click Crop
4. Crop the black region on the right and left like this
5. Save the document and export to pdf
6. Open the pdf, and some black region is on the right and left(although it is much smaller than the original image)

Could not reproduce this in Version: 5.2.2.2 Build ID: 1:5.2.2-0ubuntu2.1.
Please specify how you cropped the image in Writer.

I have reported a bug, and it is marked as duplicate of bug 45168

I just reopened the bug. It’s clearly not a duplicate, and the problem seems to persist in LibreOffice 6.0
