We are running Mint MATE 21.1 with preinstalled LibreOffice 7.37.2. The laptop is an MSI A6200 Intel Core 2 Duo Pentium with 4GB RAM. When we have Impress open and try to open an existing PPTX file, which was created by PowerPoint 2018 in Windows 10, it opens the file for a second and then crashes both Impress and Mint. We end up at the Mint sign in. It does not do this for all existing PPTX files we have–only some of them. How do I troubleshoot this? Thanks for your help.

If this is an LO version problem you could install LO 7.4.5.2 as parallel and try out. What’s the result?
