Impress & Draw: circle shape has become smiley face

I’m running LO 4.2.8.2 on Ubuntu 14.04. I last ran impress yesterday. Today I tried to insert a circle shape and it comes up as a smiley face. Same with Draw. I exited from an open document and relaunched Impress and Draw and found the same problem. Any ideas as to what has gone wrong?

Realy? Have you tried a newer version of LibreOffice?

Download LibreOffice (64 Bit);

Download 5.4.7.2,

Download 6.2.8.2
also 32 bit

… and even using the Ubuntu LibreOffice Packaging Team PPA, you get v.6.1 on Trusty.

Thanks, Mike. I installed 6.1.5.2. The problem is still there.

I tried some of the other drawing software (krita, skencil, pinta) and they are just fine. So, the problem is with an LO library, no?

Solved. Smiley Face, Circle, and many others are selected with Tools > Customize > Symbol Shapes.
