Impress: How to use the font size defined in master slide?

I have designed a master slide with specific font sizes in the title, namely 28 pt instead of 32 pt. However, this is not obeyed in a derived slide. On the other hand, font (FreeSans) and color are adopted from the master.

What am I missing?

Clicking on the title box, going to “Edit Style…” and setting the font size there has solved the issue.

Previously I adjusted the font size in the title field by highlighting the text, which didn’t seem to work properly.
