In Calc - Turning Off Printing Zeros Not Remembered after Save

  1. The Options Box under: Format, Page Style, Sheet, Print, Zero Values is defaulted to ‘ticked’. How can this default be changed permanently to ‘unticked’?

  2. Once this box is unticked, and the file saved, the selection is not ‘remembered’ when the file is Opened again?

Is there a work around, am I doing something incorrectly when creating a .xlt template ??

If this setting does not exist in Excel then it will not exist in the file format. Note that xlsx is likely to have more functionality than xls.

Always save in native format, ODS, and only save as a foreign format if someone else needs it. Do not use foreign formats for your own work.
