In toolbar record # of record # is garbled. Have seen this problem brought up before but unable to find the answer now. Was there ever an answer how to fix?

This was an outstanding Bug since early 5.x version. Will be fixed in v6.1 - see Bug 94341

I have newest version and still not fixed 6.0.2.1(Mar 21,2018) So anxiously awaiting 6.1

Obviously v6.1 has not yet been released. You can implement the fix by using one of the daily builds.
