I have a string throughout my document to which I would like to add the same cross-reference. The natural way to do that would be to search for the string and include the cross-reference in the replace field. I assume that this is impossible given the state of LO’s find-and-replace feature. If my assumption is correct, any ideas for how to automate this process rather than having to manually update hundreds of strings? Thank you in advance.

Alt-Search has not been working reliably on the latest versions of LO, unfortunately.
