I am working with images and I have to finally make the odt into epub and mobi format. I need to just work with images for pages, so I basically want to add pages without adding any pagebreaks but I am unable to do so with the available options. Is this feature even present or not ?? If yes then how ??
I believe what you want is a different ‘size’ page. Got to menu Format->Page
& select Page
tab. Under ‘Paper Format’ change width/height dimensions to what you want. Then select OK
.
Perhaps you can work easier, when you display the document without any margins and page breaks? Try View > Web, drag the window width so that it is equal to the intended text area width.
It is not clear, why you want to “add pages”. The whole text is a large “stream”, which is automatically divided in pages. So when you add the next image and it would go beyond the lower edge a new page is build automatically. So you need to describe your problems in more details. For example, how large are the images, how they are anchored, what kind of text flow is set for the image?
OK let me explain. I have some images in which written text in foreign language (Hindi). I want to make a mobi/epub for my kindle. I want to crop various part of that image and insert them in document which when made in PDF will behave like simple page. Now when I add the images then they overlap each other. When I insert a new page through page break then it breaks the formatting and adds a new page when I convert it to epub/mobi. Also I sometimes need a smaller dimension of image on whole page
I need need smaller dimension of image to fir on entire page when there is a End of Chapter or something like that.
