In some Writer documents (but not all) cursor insertion automatically adds one space to the existing text. In some Writer documents (but not all) no such space is added and the inserted cursor starts in the space immediately after the existing text. I would like, if possible, to arrange for all documents to automatically add a space when the cursor is inserted in existing text. I haven’t been able to figure out how to do this.
I’ve reviewed most of the content under Writer in the Tools: Options menu and examined the choices available under Tools: AutoCorrect: AutoCorrect options but haven’t been able to find anything relevant.
Does anyone know how to control the automatic insertion of a space before an inserted cursor? Thanks in advance for all constructive responses.
