I don’t want to install that update- would lose functionality. What version LibreOffice will avoid this problem?

1. Why? Because it’s the pre-requisite for MS UCRT (KB2999226) which is required to run LibreOffice.
2. What version will avoid this problem? any version prior to 6.0 (i.e., you may use version 5.4 and older).
