Install runs without problems but when starting libreoffice no visible characters on screen

Install runs without problems but when starting libreoffice no visible characters on screen. It seems that the program still runs but nothing is visible as pop-up runs asking whether to safe doc, but can’t see any action.

I cleaned the registry from all libreoffice references, downloaded and runned a new install but still nothing visible.

Maybe something is wrong in windows-7 64 registry which I also cleaned earlier?! But other programs don’t have problems. Before upgrade no problem!

Anybody has an idea what’s wrong?

A corrupt profile can cause such problems. Fortunately, it is easy to fix:

Re-Setting the User Profile::

1. Close down LO/OO + the Quickstarter
2. Go to your profile
3. Rename the folder
4. Restart the program
   (this re-creates a default Profile)

Still I wonder why, cleaning the registry from everything with “libre” in it didn’t remove this.
