Installing Libreoffice 26.2.2.2 uisng .deb files from this page download
I don´t want any snap or flatpak on my system, however using the .deb it remains a mystery what entry should I put in the sources.list file for libre office?
AFAIK, there is no public apt server for LibreOffice.
Download the tar.gz and open a terminal
cd ~/Downloads
tar -xzvf LibreOffice_26.2.2_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz
cd LibreOffice_26.2.2.2_Linux_x86-64_deb/DEBS/
sudo dpkg -i *.deb

@villeroy indeed , really a pity that LibreOffice gives in to Ubuntu and delivers only Snapd or flatpak,
imho snapd is actually malware , with viruslike behaviour, the sandboxing interferes with even perfectly legitimate and normal user behaviour. and makes a lot of things impossible
also the distro version of libre office (from Mint) is far behind and incomplete
Apt servers for many millions of copies of LibreOffice would be rather expensive.
Manual installation is a matter of one minute.

I think, this is the place where the Ubuntu folks prepare their next release of LibreOffice integrated into the next release of Ubuntu.
I know about the PPA server but that is - as I understand it - a beta / relesase candidate, which is not what I was looking for.
I was looking for an " automatic update" feature through the APT .
I don´t understand your remark that mainatining servers is is costly affair, because
a- these server were available and a lot of the mirrors that distribute the different .debian relate distros will gladly offfer space for Libreoffice
apt install libreoffice should install a fairly recent version of LibreOffice, possibly not the very latest. If you want to do anything related to databases (mail merge), you need to install more packages, such as libreoffice-base.
I prefer the manually installed packages from https://libreoffice.org, and yes, you are right, hosting an apt server should be possible at the same cost as providing the zipped packages.
How do you read this into
