Installing dictionary error:

When I try to open a dictionary, this is the error I get. Any help, please.

The spell-check function will not turn on, i have exhausted all menu options.

Extension manager is broken. Adding anything is doing the same…

Read these guidelines and ask a good question. In particular: how do you try to open a dictionary? And why would you do it? There is no need to open dictionaries for normal usage of LibreOffice.

Thanyou!!! This fixed it!
It was the same add-in manager issue that has been written up in more than a few different ways.
Thankyou Hagar!

What does “five points required to upvote” mean?

It’s the karma points (the count next to your user name). It is a reward system and the more you have, the more you can interact in the Ask site.

No problem not to upvote. But please confirm the solution with the button (see in my answer). The point being to tag the question as solved in the question list. It tells other users that there is a valid answer (be it a fix or an explanation that there may be no fix, which is not the case here).
