The typing screen is 8 1/2 x 11 and prints this way. I want to print it in landscape and have the print on the right hand side of the paper. How do I do this?
Change the page format from portrait to landscape.
And make sure your printer is set to Landscape when you print.
Choose menu Format - Page Style… - Page tab, next to Format: choose Letter, next to Orientation: choose Landscape.
The half of the longest side of the Letter size is 5 ½" (or 139.7 mm). In case you want to fold the paper leaving an extra inch (25.4 mm) to the left of the printed area, set the left margin to 6 ½" (or 165.1 mm).
Tested with LibreOffice 6.4.7.2 (x86); OS: Windows 6.1.
