Need to print mailing labels from calc spreadsheet. Web instructions say make the sheet a database by going to file/new/database, but that does not exist in 6.0.7.3. How can I print labels from this version?
Hello - which "instructions* are you referring to? Please provide a link and tell us about your operating system, its version and whether you are using some operating system specific repositories (still using 6.0.7.3 makes me assume you are using Ubuntu 18.04 or some derivative thereof. If you really use Ubuntu, there is some chance that you haven’t installed the database module base- Check using dpkg --list | grep libreoffice-base in a terminal).

You have not included you OS.
It would seem you are using a Linux OS with a version of LibreOffice that was installed with the OS. If so Base was probably not installed. You can install from the OS software center/Boutique on your system. Then database will be available.
On Ubuntu 18.04 look in software boutique under LibreOfice - install LibreOffice Base.

If you are using the LO installed by the OS there is no version to look for. Just install Base as it should match up with what has been previously installed.
