I saw on a dated page a macro to merge sheets but I have to do so on a copy of the file, I also saw a software that supposedly does the same; AFAICT both of these are static, thus have to be remade if data is added or changed. I’m looking for an interactive way to do so, something along the lines of I give it the 1st content (non-header) cell of each sheet in some kind of formula and any change would be reflected, it doesn’t need to be automatic, I could choose a menu option or the like to get the merged sheet to refresh.
Optionally it would also handle duplicates. The data I’d like merged are mainly 3 cells: 1 string & 2 numbers. There should not be any duplicate among one sheet, but could be in a combination of them. If the string would match another, then it would compare the 1st # and keep the lowest, if there are multiple of those, it would keep the one with the highest 2nd #.
