I have been trying to move from MS Office and Windows 10 to Linux and Libre Office.
There are few things i still struggle with in Linux.
One of those items is creating mail merge and using Thunderbird or Hiri to send it using Exchange account.
Is there a way of doing this and how?
I suppose that the primary task here is connecting TB or another mail client to Exchange; and this question is out of scope of this site; though I guess it would be interesting if that would be still answered here.
Do any earlier “Thunderbird” Q&As help at all? Examples: TB and Base; or LibO and mail server; or Email docs via TB. There are more!
Microsoft Word mail merger works fine with any email protocol.
It simply uses outlook to send emails.
When i tried to do mail merge in Libre writer it asked me to set up Pop3 or IMAP email as if Libre Office was sending an email.
There is no option to use external email client or Exchange account.
I hope there is way of doing this, but i can’t figure out how.
