Is it possible to Pin an important document to Recent Documents in Writer?

I recently installed Libre Office and am trying to set it up similar to WS Word. The version I have installed is Version: 5.0.3.2 (x64)
Build ID: e5f16313668ac592c1bfb310f4390624e3dbfb75
Locale: en-US (en_US)

I have two questions about Recent Documents in Writer.

1. One of the features that came in very handy for me in Word was the ability to Pin a frequently accessed document to the Recent Documents in Writer. Is that possible in Writer? If not, you really should consider adding the option.

2. What settings would I have to change to increase the number of Recent Documents that show in Writer?
