If I want to add an end note which is identical to one previously referred to, is it possible to just refer to that previous end note… Let’s say the next end note I create will be no. 64, but I wish for it to be the same as end note 23, can I refer once more to end note 23?
Hi
If I understand the issue, in the document where you want to insert an already referenced note, do Insert
▸Cross-reference
▸Cross-references
tab▸Type:
select the note▸Insert reference to:
select Reference
▸click Insert
By default, the end note area is presented differently from a cross-reference. Simply select the endnote, display the styles window (F11 or Sidebar) to apply the Endnote Anchor
style.
