I am having problem with OE 6.0 after installing LibreOffice. The server will not recognize my password.
Hmm… that would be something if they weren’t compatible, eh?
It seems unlikely that installing LO would be the source of your problems with Outlook Express and the password to your mail server. Could you tell us what version of Windows you’re running? (just in case someone else manages to have the same problem)
I’d suggest that you do a couple of basic fix-it type things with your machine (apologies if you’ve heard/done all of these before):
- Make sure your system is up to date with Windows Update
- Make sure you’re running the latest version of OE (patches, etc…)
- Reboot the machine
Have you tried logging-in to your email account from another machine, just to confirm that your password hasn’t changed?
