Is the libreoffice moneytext or numbertext extension used in libreoffice base form, or query, or reporting? How is it used? Or is there another solution? Or is there a macro written for this? Thanks for all the answers.
It is an extension to Calc, so “Base” will not know it exists or uses it. Zo use this you will need to drag data or a query from Base to a spreadsheet. In the resulting spreadsheet you may use everything Calc has available…
A form’s formatted control can be formatted with a NatNum code and a report’s “text box” (which is a formatted control actually) as well.
In all of LibreOffice, there is a [NatNum12] format modifier, available since version 6.1. It is available as format code everywhere you can define your own format codes; it is available in Format function in Basic (as well as e.g. TEXT spreadsheet function).
And it is based on the same code used in the “NumberText” extension, and was developed by the extension’s author.
