I often create own patterns and drawings in writer which should be available in other new documents, for example special tables or forms.
Is there a feature that fits to my needs or is there something on the roadmap?

You can mark a table including the line before and after it and generate an autotext from that selection. To use this table in new documents, insert this autotext.
It is not clear what do you mean by “forms”. Do you speak about input forms for database tables?
For drawings you should use Draw and not Writer. When a drawing is finished, drag it into the Gallery. Later on you can drag it from the Gallery to any new document in Impress, Calc, Draw and Writer.
It is not clear what do you mean by “pattern”. Do you speak about some hatching?
You can add patterns and drawing as images into your writer template either foreground or in the background. It depends what you want to do.
With some more explanation on what you want to do, it might be possible to give you some more help.
Sorry, i should’ve explained it better. I often use T-accounts in writer. It is a speciap form of a table and it would be nice to have it as a form which i can paste also into new documents.
At the moment i have to open the old document, cop the table (t-account) and paste it in the new doc where it’s needed.
Thanks for your help!
“T-account” as in the accounting structure that looks like… a “T”? (And are also used when learning algebra.)
