Is there a section for Forms?

I’m new here. I just discovered that Writer can be used to create fillable PDF forms. I have some questions about how to do that. Do I post them here? In most of the forums I use, they have separate sections for each product and even multiple sections within a product.

If there is a Forms section, please let me know how to access it. If my question should go here, let em know that and I will proceed.

PS: As I went to post this, I got the warning message that I needed to select a “tag”. I am guessing that the tags are really the sections, correct?

In some sense - yes, tags are used to classify questions. Hence using tag “common” is probably incorrect here, since you are about to create forms using writer (“common” questions are supposed to be related to all modules of LibreOffice).

I read the fillable form document. It didn’t really address my problem. I took a quick look at the Writer document. I think it can do what I need it to do, but I could really use some one-on-one help. I checked the Professional Support page, but I didn’t see a way to post a general request to all. I would have to contact each one individually and all of them seemed to be in Europe. Is there no way to post a general request for help? And are there no consultants in the US?

OK. I’ll try to be clear about my task. I wrote up a little outline. I tried to upload the pdf, but was told that filetype is not allowed. Then I tried to upload the docx file, but was told that new users are not allowed to upload anything. Seems to me that they could have told me that on the first message. (sigh)

So, I put the docx file in this OneDrive folder.
