Is there a way to automatically format/wipe fonts pasted into Calc from another source, e.g. from an email?

I often have to copy and paste figures across from emails/other sources into my Calc spreadsheets and Writer documents and I’m currently having to either first paste the figures into a plain text document, or change the font/size etc once it’s in the sheet. Is there a way to automatically format the font and text size of the items I’m pasting into my spreadsheets/documents? Any tips appreciated!
