I am constantly using autofilter in calc. I spend a huge amount of time setting up complex filters (with autofilter), and then it’s lost. Is there a way to save filters with descriptions?

You can use Advanced filters, give a name to the range where each filter is defined, marking as filter when named range is set up, and select it on the advanced filter box.
Unfortunately, I can’t get this advanced filter to work. When I select a partial sheet ($SUMMARY.$A$1:$Y$7533) it takes about 10 min until the process completes and the advanced filter dialogue closes. It appears the save process does not complete because there is no saved filter.
